Posture impacts more than you think.
Weak posture causes uneven wear, breakdown and pain, forcing your body to change over time. To avoid pain, the body compensates by moving differently.
In a very short time, the body adapts to the new movement pattern. Even after pain subsides, these unbalanced motion patterns and poor posture persist.
We still must balance to stand, so the brain quickly adapts and adopts the changed muscle and joint positions. These adaptive motion patterns almost always lead to more uneven wear, creating an ever worsening cycle of pain, weak balance and new injuries.
