7SSP Training & Implementation for PROs
To be effective in practice means delivering results people feel, with a message they can communicate to others.
The first step of 7SSP focuses on Balance, and begins by creating awareness of balance. When patients watch the video below they learn why posture is important, what balance is, and how to become aware of the accuracy of their balance. This positions the pro to set a baseline against which to observe future improvement. In-office practice time for you to provide this education? 0 minutes.
On the next visit, all you need to say is “Did you begin your StrongPosture program?” followed by “Show me your 1 leg balance.” Practice time: 20 seconds, maybe a minute if you want to do a hands-on correction.
Multiplied by each person cared for, learning at home and then refining in the practice saves tremendous practice time. For basic rehab, we suggest focusing on one activity a visit- we call this the Primary exercise in the 7SSP Pro Training. This leaves the other exercises in each step to then be the primary focus, as appropriate, in subsequent encounters.
You’ll learn many subtleties in Pro Training to blend the Home Exercise Program and unique issues with the care you provide.
