You’re gonna love our session today because ball stretched feels great, it can also improve how you look following the must versus try cues precisely can open up the places where your posture is tight from the bottom posture zone to the top vertebrae by vertebrae. Ball stretch is probably my favorite exercise because it’s what’s taught me to strengthen my body and my balance when I first started working with StrongPosture® personally and when I first started helping my patients, and now, in turn, we help Certified Posture Exercise Professionals help their patients and clients around the world.

Even though I’ve helped thousands of people get out of pain, ironically enough, I personally have suffered some nasty episodes of low back pain. Also, as it happens, I was born with something that’s called Scheuermann’s disease, this means that the discs in my spine were poorly developed and very thin and my hamstrings, the muscles in the back of my legs, were congenitally short, as a result, my back naturally rounded into what’s called a Kyphosis around the back.
I knew there had to be a connection between my posture and my pain, I could feel it, but I didn’t know what to do about it and well textbooks and even today, internet health searches say that patients suffering from Scheuermann’s disease, cannot consciously correct the posture. I know they’re wrong because when I was 40, I got to the point that not only couldn’t I touch my toes with my knees locked. I couldn’t touch my knees, still can’t touch my toes quite but I’m way closer and I’m way past my knees. Moreover, I move, I balance and I’m more active than most of the other folks my age and a lot of people a lot younger.
