Doing your BAM 3-2-1 exercise has made a big difference in your posture awareness and likely helped you to improve your alignment more often to stand straighter, stand taller, and to almost certainly strengthen your ability to balance on one leg.
Improving balance with postural awareness starts a virtuous spiral of improving core control, which then progresses to improving your alignment against the objective wall and then moving with core control on the ball, which in turn improves balance, it’s a virtuous spiral of Balance – Alignment – Motion – BAM that is retraining the countless subtle movements that are coordinating lots of moving parts.
Hundreds of bones and muscles are moving they’re connected by over a hundred thousand miles of nerves to the hundred billion neurons in the average human brain, our goal is connecting them more effectively more accurately to what you’re telling them to do in the dance of your body’s motion, which motion is the most important? and which is the most important muscle?
